Skyevtol takes use of NASA’s UAM organizational framework and provide UAM network operation trial service to local society.
Under NASA's framework and Skyevtol's practice, there are six levels and five
pillars to organize the operation service. the six levels are presented in the table at the bottom.
The five pillars are representing the major aspects of the UAM ecosystem:
• Airspace System Design and Implementation
• Individual Aircraft Management and Operations
• Airspace and Fleet Operations Management
• Aircraft Development and Production
• Community Integration
The two airspace pillars—Airspace System Design and Implementation and Airspace and Fleet Operations
Management—pertain to design and implementation of airspace for the safe, efficient, and equitable operation
and management of multiple aircraft within a UAM system. Skyevtol commited to these two fields in its trial basing on its deep understanding about the ATM system and local regulations.
The two aircraft pillars—Individual Aircraft
Management and Operations and Aircraft Development and Production—pertain to design, manufacturing, and
system health of aircraft, as well as operations and maintenance of a single UAM aircraft independent of the
sharing of airspace or other resources. Skyevtol will not play any role in these two pillars, meanwhile the company established long term cooperation with the manufacturers and will select proper and cost-efficient Evtol or UAM to operate in its trial network.
The Community Integration pillar considers transportation integration and
societal acceptance of UAM operation. Skyevtol has planned to deepen its envolvement in local community integration both economically and socially.
